Dragonfly was founded in 2000. Due to different musical
interests, the band developed a characteristic and refreshing style. Dragonfly is often placed in a Gothic-box, but can be said to be a band with a different face and a true Heavy Metal sound. The female singer Klarine Buist is supported by heavy chords, arousing riffs en harmonic melodies.


Dragonfly did many successful performances. The Band played some gigs as support act for great bands like Epica , Trail of Tears,Stream of Passion and others Dragonfly also performed at some big festivals with bands like After All,Autumn,Therion, Asrai, Peter Pan and many other Metal and Rock bands.

After one demo, Dragonfly released on january 2006 their first self-financed debut album called "Falling Down". Hopefully 2007 becomes a great year for Dragonfly New songs are written and the first gigs are confirmed. The new songs sounds more dirty&faster then before !
