"Female Metal Magazine and Women in Metal are the first world Association to support and promote new female fronted metal bands"

Women in metal is an association and Female Metal is its magazine and community about front women and their fans. Women in metal and metal female were founded on the belief that metal music is not only for men and this magazine starts supporting front women bands and female voices in solo or band in different styles: heavy metal, gothic, black metal, death metal, rock, Celtic, folk, ambient, medieval, symphonic metal,... and metal in general

The World Association Women in metal was born offline in 2008. We organized some concerts to promote female metal bands and some press releases for the promoted bands. At the present the World Association Women in metal offers real support and promotion for new talents into metal bands with female/s.

Female metal and Women in Metal are the first international magazine and association of metal bands with female in their line-up to promote them around the world and we got a new staff and at the moment, we are looking for a new horde of collaborators who believe in metal female music.

Women In Metal, female metal and their staff with fresh ideas and years of experience have a strong international network, stretching all over the globe and ranging from target audience to artists, management & booking agencies, major and independent labels, distributors, venues, promoters etc...

In 2009, the association signed a contract with Buzz E-Press Ed. Now Women in metal and Metal female are supported by the international and big editorial group

Recently,  we have closed a deal with Gothikas Stores. So Female Metal will have their own clothing shop, where 100% of profit is donated to our association and magazine to support new bands with female singers, the organization of events, promotion, broadcasting,... and all activities related to us.
Besides,  all shops of Gothikas Stores will donate 25% of the selling price of their clothes.

 In October of 2010 Lady Angellyca have been chosen the new general director. She has worked as webmaster for very big online communities and she has been a journalist and collaborator of several metal magazines (print and online) and radio.

She have been an A&R  for some records labels (included some metal ones). She also works in marketing  and band promotion with one of that labels. Lady Angellyca is a very  influential person into metal music around the world and we are sure that her collaboration will have a beneficial effect on Female Metal Magazine, Women in Metal association and female fronted metal bands.

This team who started defending their ideas, now, they are fighting to get their dream. A metal world with an equilibrium between women and men.
